Air Warrior
The Air Warrior directories are organized into two
sections, Monochrome Art, and Color Art.
The Air Warrior Monochrome folder contains all the
files for using Air Warrior on a monochrome system such as
the Plus, SE, or Portable.
The Air Warrior Color folder contains a number of
different things. Three folders contain three groups of
color art files. The Small Color Art folder contains a number
of art files used on a color Mac with Air Warrior set into the
512x384 screen format. The Large Color Art folder contains a
some very interesting files for the full screen color mode.
Two of the files, the P-51 Mustang and P-38 Lightning,
also contain small screen color art different from the
art in the Small Color Art folder; you may prefer one
over the other. The third folder, Blue Macs' Art, is
a collection of very nice small screen format color
planes all drawn by the same person. Check these out,
they are some of the best art files! Each of the three
folders contains a complete setup with the Air Warrior
program, so that the game may be run directly from the
CD-ROM.
The Air Warrior Sound folder contains several
versions of sampled sound. The Sound Data file is the
standard very large 22Khz file. The small Sound Data
file and Kit's Sound Data are alternate files, copy
them into the Air Warrior folder and rename them to
Sound Data to make use of them. The other 2 files are
specific files for the F4U Corsair (an actual 22 Khz
sample of a Corsair from the cockpit!) and a tank;
just copy those files into your folder to use them.
